The system was developed to guarantee the level of reliability essential for long production runs.
Complying with the latest
self checking systems for burner systems that run continuously for periods
greater than 24hrs, P series MA fully modulating burners were developed that
combined the simple reliable design of the P series burner with the additional
feature of fully modulating air and gas for increased efficiency. Temperature
control of + / - 1C is capable across a variety of required process temperatures
due to the 40 : 1 turndown.

see 'Package Burners' in the Products
section.
Modulating high intensity
gas fired infra red heaters were used to set the foam surface, accurate output
control was required to prevent over or under curing of the product which
would cause additional problems further down the process.

Products section.
BELT
/ PRODUCT PRE-HEATING
Requirement: To design a combustion system that could increase the production
speed of a rubber based underlay process line by a minimum of 10 - 12%.
The system needed to be installed within the framework of the existing machine with minimal modifications, be totally reliable across long production runs and have a pay back time of 2 - 3 months.
A metal fibre infra red
heater was developed to pre heat the belt and product from underneath. The
emitter material was designed to withstand both mechanical and thermal shock,
work reliably in very high ambient temperatures and also to burn off any debris
that may fall onto the emitter face during production. The equipment satisfied
all design criteria and as a result, multiple systems have now been manufactured.
